Wasn't aware of your blog until the Zelaya incident. I like your comments about living in Honduras, my first country ever in LA, and good little place, where I lived for seven years and where one of my kids was born. Keep posting!

Did ministry and missions to the Bay Islands for over 10 years and lived there for 4. Part of my heart is still there with our many friends and I like to keep up with the news there (from the proper perspectives of course!).

Love to keep up with what is really happening since media insists on telling us only pro Zelaya stuff. My sister in law & family live in San Pedro Sula so I NEED TO KNOW EVERYTHING. Stay safe, I write letters to State Dept etc every chance I get!

Just wanted to take a moment to say how much I have enjoyed your blogs. I find the arguments well thought out & insightful, with a gift toward appreciating the irony that living in Honduras presents. Thanks so much for taking the time to post. Erin Hale

I've been in and out of Honduras by my boat, X Isle. Seven months in Bay Islands. SPS has been my air travel hub. Been to 'moskitia' Rio Plantano biosphere and more. Realistic views and comments from La Gringa.

My wife and I have been involved with the Baxter Institute in Tegus since 1986, the year I retired. Our church supports two graduates, one of whom is "catracho." Our last visit was for the school's graduation last December. Honduras is dear to us.
